My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour

-

I still cannot believe that I get to write this… this past Friday, June 21st, 2024, I went to the freaking ERAS TOUR in London! I have to start by giving my friend Stacey the biggest shoutout because without her, I wouldn’t have been able to attend this incredible concert and making my little Swiftie dreams come true at My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour.

Now, let’s talk about some of my top take aways from this concert – from what you really need (hint: it’s actually not as much as you think), to sharing my outfit details, and more at My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour!

Must-Have Items

Let’s begin by going over some of the most crucial details, which in my humble opinion are the things you absolutely must have with you when you attend the Eras Tour. As previously stated, I don’t think you really need that much. While some lists I’ve seen range from ten to more items, my own is actually only five, and some will depend on the venue and attire you choose for My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour!

  1. Loop Earplugs: If you value your hearing at all, these are a non-negotiable. The older I get, the more I think about how much I don’t want to ruin my hearing! The earplugs made it that I could hear Taylor more clearly & it drowned out a lot of the cheering and screaming around us. In fact, it sounded quiet when people were cheering with them in & when I took them out to compare, I was SHOCKED. The only downside of these is you can definitely hear yourself singing more clearly than if you aren’t wearing any earplugs at My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour.
  2. Foldable Flats: Planning to wear cowboy boots (like I did!), or heels? Just do yourself a favour, and bring a pair of foldable flats to throw in your bag. They’re small, and you will thank yourself after 3+ hours of standing & dancing. I even put insoles in my boots, and it wasn’t enough to save my feet from extreme pain.
  3. Battery Bank & Cable: This may seem obvious, I know, but bring your battery bank & a cable, I promise you’re going to need it. I charged my phone to 100% before I left for the concert, and needed to plug in about half way through. Just check what size of battery bank you can bring with your venue at My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour!
  4. Phone Bracelet or Crossbody: Let me tell you, having my phone on a little bracelet that I could quickly record and/or take photos, and then just drop and not worry about my phone being placed properly in my bag was amazing! Plus, it’ll help you keep a hold of your phone while working through big crowds at My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour.
  5. Buy Water!: Don’t think you’re going to make it through 3+ hours of singing and dancing without getting some water, and stay hydrated, especially if you’re going to a summer show. It gets hot, you’re exerting a lot of energy and you need to stay hydrated. What I personally did was go to the washroom before I went to the venue, and made sure I drank a Liquid IV in the morning, and I was able to sip on water throughout the concert without needing to run to the washroom at My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour.

And by the way… I’m going out tonight

I know there’s many people who want some outfit inspiration for the remainder of the 2024 shows, so I figure why not share the details of mine! I did a mirrorball-folklore-inspired outfit because I wanted to sparkle but also folklore is my favourite album! I saw so many people wearing a sequin skirt with a disco ball t-shirt that went with this vibe too, but if you are feeling inspired by my outfit, here’s the details at My Biggest Tips for Attending the Eras Tour:

So make the friendship bracelets

I only made around 40 friendship bracelets in the end, and let me tell you, it was more than plenty. Don’t allow the TikTok users’ sharing of their more than 100 bracelets lead you to believe that you had to trade all of yours—I ended up trading around 3/4 of mine. Although it’s an enjoyable experience, I only traded approximately 30 of the over 88,000 attendees at the expo I attended. Since you really don’t need that many, I would strongly advise purchasing a few bead kits, splitting them up with friends, and creating 20–40.
